About
I'm Ivan, an aviation photographer and writer based in Germany. I grew up in Tokyo, where I began photographing aircraft at Haneda Airport.
My work covers airlines, airports and aircraft, including new liveries, deliveries, airline events and trade shows. I have covered ILA Berlin, AERO Friedrichshafen, the Malaysia Airlines A330neo launch, the naming of Edelweiss' first A320neo, and ANA special liveries. I also write news, features and trip reports for aviation publications.
A keen traveller, I have focused in recent years on combining aviation with landscape, from the Swiss Alps and Arctic fjords to Mt. Fuji. Alongside photography, I am studying for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
