Terminal 1 is best from sunrise to noon and is also great at blue hour. Terminals 2 and 3 are better in the afternoon. At night all three are great, and Terminal 1 has the most light.

When it rains, go to Terminal 1: part of the deck has a roof.

When to go

Best: morning, afternoon, night.

Which wind

Works in any wind: the runways in use don't change what you see here.

Runways

T1 and T3 face runway A (16R/34L), T2 faces runway C (16L/34R).

Getting there

Monorail or Keikyu to the terminal stations. A free shuttle bus runs between the terminals.

Good to know

Opening hours change with the season and tripods may be restricted, so check tokyo-haneda.com before you go.
